One is doing very well, the other one as much as I try and him as well, it doesn’t work. The school calls me or send me emails 2-3 times/week, I’m already stressed out because of this. I think you are quite rude! You should try being a parent, schooling, going to work, and raising a family. I for one know how exactly how hard it is, I have 4 children and work 30hours a week, I have worked all the way through lockdown as I am a key worker! I am lucky if I can get them all to do an hour a day learning. I work in a school and I am a mum. My children are also very academic, but working at home has been incredibly stressful for all of us! The second we step foot into the school, we instantly get into school/work mode. But at home, there is no differentiation, and it’s so hard to concentrate!

Some year groups have not gone back yet, my son’s kids age 15 12 and 5, are still home not because he did not want to send them back, he’s and his wife are working and trying to teach their children not easy, if you need to be safe in a shop you also need to be safe at school, Well Konrad you are one in a million and I applaud you for commitment. It is quite well known that men can also make wonderful ‘mothers’. Did you live in the war? Surely that will have caused other damages to children. Also education was differently rated than today. Exactly! I’ve a girl in 1st class, a girl in 3rd class, a boy in Junior Cert year, and a one year old! Everyone doing the best they can Ppl there’s a crisis how about posting some positive comments. If we come out of this without losing someone near and dear to us then we have done well, nothing else really matters. Stay safe xxx I for one am struggling as I’m still working full time from home and have 2 girls in separate year groups.
